Former Kameme FM news presenter and sports Journalist, Moses Kanyira, has risen from the dusts of dismissal from work while he was at his Prime. Moses Kanyira was among the hundreds of staff layed off by Mediamax limited, a company that owns chain Tv stations and radio stations.
Among the radio stations owned by Mediamax are Kameme FM, Milele FM and Egesa FM. The company also owns Kameme TV and K24.
When Moses Kanyira received his termination letter, he was positive that it was a gateways to good tiding. He however knew it wouldn’t be easy to rise from losing a well salaried job.
Kanyira who had a signature introduction and sign off to his News bulletins, assambled his talented family and established an online TV station. This was a new one for a man only used to covering News over the Radio.
It didn’t take long before the many fans accepted his new move and have since been following his TV station religiously. Some of the issues covered on his TV include live bands, politics, News bulletins, live interviews, Newspapers reviews etc.
It was not the first time for the Nyeri born journalist to be fired from Mediamax. In 2017, Kanyira was fired from Kameme while his mother was critically ill. Most of his fans took to social media to express their anger over his dismissal.
Kanyira would later be reinstated but this time as a News presenter. It was reported that he contemplated suicide after his first dismissal, a thing he said was a twisted story by the media.
On Friday, 21st February 2020, Kanyira took to his social media account to express his joy after he successfully managed to upgrade his studio to a full HD studio. According to Kanyira, the upgrade which saw him establish a separate interview room and live cameras, costed him Millions of Shillings.
On Saturday morning,he covered his first News in the new studio. His fans showered him with messages of courage and goodwill following his bold move.
